Background

• Born and raised in Ahmedabad, India. APS (Army Public School) gang represent!
• Used to play semi-pro soccer in high school, was also a triathlete.
• Dropped out of India's CPA track (CA) after scoring top 0.1% nationally on its entrance exam. Blame Interstellar: I couldn't stop daydreaming about wormholes and robots, so I said f*** it and went back to high school to cram two years of science study into one.
• Did my undergrad in Mechanical Engg. at ITNU, building autonomous robots from scratch. Led India's robotics team at ABU Robocon (Asia-Pacific's largest robotics competition). We won the nationals in 2018 (against ~110 teams) and finished runners-up in 2019.
• At Fero AI, we built TiA, one of the first AI agents for freight logistics, powered by Google's BERT (before agents were cool xD). [2020]
• Moved to the US and speedran Master's in Robotics/CS (15 months) at the University of Maryland (Go TERPS xP). Did AI Avatar research under Aniket Bera and ML/CV research on drones under Lina Castano. [2021-22]
• Developed one of the first real-time AI Avatars at Samsung Research, NEON Labs (product). Trained the foundational motion/video generation models behind it, which we deployed for enterprise users (launch). [2022-23]
• Got my O1A ("Alien of Extraordinary Ability") visa from USCIS in 2024 :)
• Founded Lunaris AI: deployed production AI systems into clients' infra and took on projects with Tribe AI on Agentic System Design and Computer Use agents. Solo bootstrapped the business to six-figure revenue. [2024-26]

Misc

• I'm a huge sci-fi nerd; always down to chat about Space tech, AGI, Robotics, Simulation, Neural Interfaces, or really anything futuristic.
• Part of the ODF community, Tribe network and The SF Commons - come say hi :)
• Weekends are for league soccer - old habits die hard!
• Also into strength training and I try to run/hike when I can. Although, my diet is a work in progress haha.
